Our History
In 1986 International Cartage Limited of Windsor Ontario was sold to Yellow Freight Lines. The specialty division of I.C.L. was purchased by a group of Owner Operators that formed a new company called International Freight Systems Inc.
Today International Freight Systems specializes in the transportation of molds, dies and steel product on vans and flat deck trailers, but is not limited to this specialty.
Our Mission Statement
International Freight Systems provides competitive, reliable transportation service, consistent to our customers' requirements. We provide a means for coninuous improvement and strive to maintain a high level of quality in regards to trained personnel, owner operators, safe operations, and customer expectations.
Implmentation of our Quality Management System is the responibility of Top Management at International Freight Systems.

- Equipment availability and procurement of owner operators
- Sales and profitability
Technological Advances
This long term objective has the commitment by Management to be proactive in developing more company procedures with the use of current technology. Examples include satellite communication, electronic dispatch, internet sales and imaging.
